VOTES? FOR WOMEN?

It was only a few days before, I was surprised and shocked about how our norms towards ‘Gender-Equality’ grew, It all began from ‘suffrage’ (the right to vote in political elections). I suppose. We are nearly two centuries from the date when women made strikes and suffered to vote in general elections and here we are asking for equality in emotions. ‘Suffrage-Movement’ is clearly hailed a s  the first wave of Feminism when a long untold battle took place. It was only then, the feminine gender realized they were deprived of opportunities to choose who rules their nation and called for rallies. It is clear that behind every equal right and opportunity in which we thrive today there are a number of women and a few men who protested and fussed for their rights against those who clearly enjoyed suppressing the so-called weaker gender. And to those people, we people(women) of the present generation are invisibly sending our gratitude by doing our part best. But the sad thing is that ther...

THE TECH.

Let me assure you with the next few minutes of reading. This isn't about the disadvantages of what the topic says nor the advantages because we have plenty of folks on the internet to talk about those.                        I don't like to sound like an old chap talking about 'do you remember those olden days without mobile phones??', the reason being I didn't really exist at those reigns, at least back then averagely there was a handy phone in most of the houses (less than two decades back.)                       But, can you imagine,  children born in the present decade will brag that they were grown with smartphones and laptops and those to be born in the next decade will talk that they had bendable screens that displayed their favourite shows. (Who knows?) .  While we r...

Myth-Busting

Everybody love or hate MYTHS , don't we? If you favour or support a myth it must have benefited you, say we commonly believe in crossing our fingers for luck just because of the last coincidental time when the teacher hadn't checked the homework you completely forgot.        If you hate a myth then you must have faced the worst day and the last day of believing in that myth.         In my primary school days, I  used to put my collar buttons when airbus(aeroplane) passed by because we were told we would be dropped chocolates for being disciplined and now I realize if people in there threw me chocolate given the approaching velocity and free fall I would have got my tiny nose broken and little did I know that there were no windows in the buses that drove in the air!        If you are a person that still believes bulls hate the red colour and never dared to wear red in a cowshed, Try this...

Controversy of Feminism

FEMINISM has become the most unpopular and misunderstood word that I suppose is to be the most dismayed concern of today's society.           EQUITY. There could be no other best glossary for feminism. As the word suggests it might mean to work for women's rights but I better disagree with it. I would rather say we have to work for equality of all the existing genders for each of them are being suffered in one or the other way out.          My gender-based assumptions began when I started to question why 'C hutki ' hadn't joined for the fight with ' Chotta bheem ' while little ' Raju' offered his best! ( No offence dear Bheem! ) The differences get cultivated from here.           There are days I kept wondering why society was least considered or bothered about my father's role in the upbringing of his child and burdening my mum with responsibilities while I equally cherish their importance in my l...

Definitely an INTRODUCTORY blog.

Typical. I would wish my parents named me 'typical' instead of Nandhini for that is what exactly I am. Speaking of my name, I am a typical Dravidian Indian citizen. (I call myself a teen of age-related issues.)                              Believe me, I still haven't understood how this blogging works and how it reached you and keeps you reading. (I'm pretty sure you're reading it because of my passion for writing). YEET!! you're still reading. I'm definitely skilled in blogging.                           I told you I'm typical. Typical of what? typical of a teen!. well if u haven't yet noticed my URL I named it 'radical-fem-teen2005'  for which I define as a feminine teenager who wants to reform something .  I'm not gree...
